if ya get struck by lightning twice and get hit by an asteroid on the way ... might be your day. but ... someone has to win eventually I was a lucky donor in a 20:1 odds hospital mega-raffle

this thread might give yo some insight. I am still learning, too.

not a fabric care specialist ... have you tried a straight steamer

the grinder doesn't bother me. I'm the one using it. The manual burr mill is quiet/er. I'm not up to an athletic event until after I have had my mud.

the difference between that farm and all of the rest is that the feds are running the one in Mississippi. Ambulance was idling around here at 2:30AM. I was up... after a "nap". Someone must have been having a problem. I dinna see where they went. Hope it wasn't a friend. I about said "Someone I know" ... that would be most everyone Time to grind beans. And wake then wife. I do not know how the grinder doesn't. I have heard quieter garbage disposals.

Got a pair for myself Christmas I've been playing around with placing mine, too. Distance from the wall [to back of speaker] seems to have quite a bit of influence.

I always like 1 the best. 1st "rock" concert I went to... The Association at the AuditoriumTheater in Chicago 1970 you will like this --- it was a school field trip! 9th grade they got us ticket waaaaaaaaaaaaay up in the nosebleed section. I wonder why ??? HaHaHa

University of Arizona did what they are good for. Out play a ranked team and then ..... seems to be their MO the loss didn't surprise me.

that would keep a few people busy for a while

my wife just shakes her head and walks away. I get to do the same with her ... and she got a master's. An intellectual... keep tools away from her. somewhere along the way physics got by her. when she "helps" me ... I spend more time explaining why you want to hit the nail with the metal end of the hammer than working. Not quite that bad... But near

.... when I went to pick up my car, I was noticing the new "farms" down in the valley. Lot of big greenhouses. I know there is at least 5 acres legally planted. All w/i 3 miles of a BorderPatrol/Customs installation on I-19. Curious to see how this is going to play out. if they are let to grow ... I suppose the feds will allow the product to be moved to the dispensaries ???

"Yes ...we have a new annual variety of BurningBush."

maybe it's just me. Eating "good" is easy. Only problem I have is getting produce that makes the cut. I have lived in enough places and grown enough to know what "vine ripened" is. Spoiled. I also eat what is in season. Best and as cheap as it will get. I refuse to buy tomatoes. Even heirloom varieties are junk by the time they get to the store. We do have a farmers' market. I know who grew it. I will buy

I don't get surprised much any more. Amazed often. I amaze myself WTF were thinking Bill... stop that. and you thought you were smarter than that. My best stupid stories are thing I have done.

I worked at a plant nursery for a while one day a lady came in wanting a flowering tree .......................... that didn't make a "mess" I was younger and ... um, more polite. I didn't laugh in her face or send her to get plastic or silk. I would now

Nice! wish I had it so easy. I am still clearing rock off the surface of our piece. Filling "baskets" 4ft tall X 1.5ft dia on the fence line. 5 down. I think t will turn into a wall before I'm done or like one of those Inca homesites. I think about those farm fields with the rock "fences" I saw in VA. The poor bugger plowing.... tang! Not again?!?

Mornin' all Got the Olds back. $175 lighter. I look at new cars and all the gadgets in them ... makes me look hard at putting some $$$ into this old pos. Runs good and is reliable. Easy on fuel, too. I figure 30mpg. It does better on pure hwy driving. My mileage isn't exactly an average of city/hwy. Drive 20 miles and pause the car for a stop sign, then go. Slow down for turns or a cow ... Dodging potholes that kinda stuff. Traffic ... uh, no. Went traditional when I bought beans yesterday. ColombianSupremo. Using the end of the Guatemalan this AM. winter has returned. A few days of normal and sub-normal .... back to 80's until the next one, then it's all spring's fault

oops my bad sorry we have some thorny stuff. Most everything. The bloody bermuda grass will stick you. there is a beauty of a thorn bush. Graythorn. The Mexican name sounds much nicer, but I would butcher the spelling. this bush does not have thorns. Not like raspberries or roses or hawthorn. It is thorns. Every growing end is a point

these were Bugler papers, I wouldn't use for anything but tobacco... they're just a little thinner than newsprint ... but cheap. tbh, if I am offered a tailor made cig, I turn it down. They leave me wanting a cigarette. dtel that a stub of a Sago palm? Our weeds are starting green up. Takes a week or so for a visible difference. The cottonwoods popped leaves and the elderberries are green. It still gets cold at night. We can grow apples here

I roll my own cigarettes.... really "tailor made" cigarettes are about as "good" as canned ground coffee since I'm on a roll... there is tobacco that grow wild down here. The indigenous peoples used it for religious ceremonies ... it must be pretty strong.
-
that almost an "on topic" post. better mark this date on the calendar

don't know how many of you will appreciate this one drop of coffee has me feverishly separating the rolling papers it landed on.

we wee retrofitting the pinsetters with some piece of something [I don't remember what and doesn't matter] ... the instructions referred to screwdrivers as + and - .... think they were shooting for the lowest common denominator???

thanks. I tear down the breather tubes in my woodstove every few weeks to clean the chimney. I was looking around for some NeverSeize. in one of our sheds. Found a can from blasting caps... That won't help unrelated but I found an old Folger's can. My folks drank the stuff and I don't remember this can. It has a ship on it.

standard is a relative term. I-19 has the distinction of being one of [the one?] interstate signed in Metric. Quite confusing when your get on the on ramp and see "This highway signed in metric" and then see a Speed Limit 65 with no designation.
