@DizRotus Big12? Ya KNOW I'd love to see OK get beat but... Sure I'd like to see OSU get "in" but they have to get by Northwestern tonite, which I think is gonna be a battle. Maybe not, but again it just depends on who wins. Ha! Thing w/OSU is, if the receivers can get that "step" it'll be just like last week against TTUN. Northwestern's program is even more solid this year. The headache? That CFP crew has their work cut out for them. Damned if you do and damned if you don't! I honestly don't think the Buckeyes should be in. They're way too young, next year of course, IF they ball like they're capable of. I find it funny that ESPN reported Urb was leaving after this year. Could happen even though Urb and AD Gene Smith (ND former) say no. Plants a seed into the kids heads. Shame they can't drop the BS and let the kids ball. Then toss in the ESPN pre-season garbage. I didn't see them reporting the final outcome of it all. You know how that works though. People wonder why OSU fans say "haters gonna hate?" Factor in the OSU recruiting program, which is ROCK solid 24/7, 365, and of course other Uni's are upset cause this or that kid went to OSU. These kids today aren't just average breeding stallions they're STUDS who LOVE he challenge! Sure they'll ball at OSU they LOVE being the dawg! Prime examples right there. Sure I'm all about the Buckeyes but I will go on record saying that this year there's not a team on the planet that SHOULD beat Bama on paper. On ANY given day and we all know it does happen... Saban and Urb coached together so Saban will ALWAYS have an edge but those are just my thoughts from looking at the paperwork. lol The WORLD knows Urb wants another shot to prove them wrong. You really should update yourself on the final disposition of the case. Try looking up what Jeff Snook has written about all of this. Jeff's a good friend who knows more about that case than many covering that case will EVER know. Know you won't cause "haters gonna hate" but that's fine I can deal and get my grin on... It's actually an artist's rendition taken from a pic Ron Raffaelli took of the guys. Ron's color print was also used by Tower Records in a B&W print on a 3 x 5 inch promo handout. Not many of those around. Jimi signed most and they do turn up for sale once in a while. About $3-5k depending on condition. Bwa ha ha...

Agreed, here's a slide kid when you learn how to use it we'll give you some stage time w/us. So yea he took it to heart and melded with it learing every nuance of most of the great artists before him much like Joe B. The difference is Derek doesn't weave other's riffs into his work like Joe B has always done. You'll hear 3-4 different artists riffs in Joe B's stuff, whereas a true player like EC, BB, would NEVER do it. Sure it's been done for ages by others but not all the time. Plagiarism at a new level with Joe. Maybe I'm just too picky. Dunno.

I want to hear an original artist's work I'll pull him out and listen to him. Joe B's work is woven w/so many others work. Not creative at all imo.

Love the fact EC has taken Derek Trucks under his wing to handle the close tight work he can't catch anymore... Derek and that slide on everything w/picks in his fingertips... Incredible to watch live. He's ALWAYS there just like EC was and has been throughout his career. Enjoy... Joe B? Pffffft...
