Snowed 3 times this winter. No more than an inch or so each time. Third snowfall last night. .5 inches max then going up into the 50's next week "they" say.

Diets? Yea, think I tried that one too once Chuck. Stayed right on it to. Lost about 20#'s then went off it. In about two ot 3 weeks I'd gained 30#. No Mas! lol '

Nah, Mike's ride (shades) and another guy. He bought the vette new for his wife and spent a year going thru the engine before she ever drove it. They use a pickup for the most part. It's a sleeper too. That's him though. He's meticulous. His 409 will give ya a stiffie just listening to it. Freakin amazing sound and flat a$$ flies! Heard a rumor once of a 178 quarter but never did ask him. Might have to now next time we bump.

Few will touch this guy's rides. One of the best mechanic's in Ohio. Ya might just know him Roger or know of him. He shoved it ALL under the hood on his personal rides. Now he just smiles a lot. He bought this new from the dealer he worked for at the time. She is STILL real fine for a 409. It's been rarely been drivin and completely gone over. It will give ya goose bumps just sittin there chuggin! One I'd love to own just like eveyone else. Absolutely gorgeous in every way!

It will Mike. Someday! Thanks for the TV pic! Yesterday, my Vizio 60" took two hours to get an un-mottled pic. Started nosin and thunkin last night. Hit it this morning and the same thing so it's on the way out. I'm stuck w/a Sony it seems. It's the only design that has flat support legs that will fit on my TV cabinet, which is 39" wide. Everything else uses a tri-pod leg spaced wider than the cabinet. Then started thinking I'd just bring the smaller one down outta the bedroom. No sports on anyway, don't watch movies so why spend the money now? Daughter changed the furnace filter for me last week. Cold in here yesterday so broke out the lil heater. Freezing upstairs last nite so hit the electric blanket. Woke up and really cold in here @ 50 so went down and yup, furnace door was off the safety switch. Perfect! Toasty now! By golly Tarheel I think you just might have that LF house broken since she came home back home. Nice that ya cut her loose to play tennis again today! Riddle me this. Did she have that smile on when she came home or have that rode hard and put away wet look? Asking for a friend. A deposit in my account? Nope, nope and nope! It is what it is... TMI? Deal... Buddy of mine bought this new and still takes it out once in a while. I had to settle for a red 69 w/o the Cobra Jet. One I wish I'd kept. Traded it for a 73 LTD. Don't ask! lol The local dealer sold it the next day to a dealership buddy of his in Cbus who bought it for his son's graduation present. Wound up sitting in their showroom's floor. I walked in one day, stepped over the rope around it and got in. Heaven once again! Two minutes later I had the old man on my rear wanting to know what I was doing. Told him I was sitting in my old car. He knew I was right and we had a nice talk about it. Not For Sale. Fun while it lasted I guess. Sucks to be me.

Local guy has a 57 Chevy Bel Air that his father bought and put in the garage. What's he do after his father passes? Puts it in his garage. There it sits with less than 1k miles on it. Puts it in the local car shows around here and cleans up every time. The down side? It's canary yellow! Have to get some pics IF there's ever another car show!

I picked up a pair of 81 La Scalas and decided to go thru them and put together a new system pairing my Linn turntable with them. I'm ALL about analog 2-channel. Period. No home theater or other stuff. I was running an 81 SAE system with a pair of Infinity Ref Standard 2.5's, which always had a problem with their EMIM's. Tough to find now and when ya do they're pricey. I'd lugged LS around for years and they were my first choice for a speaker so why not go back and get what you'd always loved? Yup, done deal now and I'm one happy boy. Ya got the bestest gang on the planet in here! Welcome to the Forum! Buckle up, put your helmet on and crank it up! You'll be fine!

Up @ 7, looked at the clock twice and just rolled out @ 11? Here we go! Hit the 60-inch and the picture is crap but the things prolly 7 years old at least so might have to pull the smaller one outta the bedroom. Fine last nite when I crashed though. No biggie since there is nothing happening in the world of sports. News ya say? SSDD! Now maybe I can pull everything out away from the wall and get this room painted. Only one hole in the top of my coffee mug too grasshopper Eating local is fine but have kinda given up. Around here no one is doing carry out that I see. Don't think I want the screamin squirts after eating something that's been in a cooler for 3 weeks. lolol My pizza shop is still open with pick up or delivery so the 17 I have in the freezer are laying there yet. I'll support my pizza shop any day of the week. Good stuff and I know the guy well who owns it. His act is totally together. Chinese guy closed up til it's over. Prolly tougher catching those dogs and cats with no one outside their homes unless they go into stealth mode to hunt in. No cabin fever here yet. Can ya tell?
