Bubo, I wonder if WD 40 has any effect on the stylus ( bonding agent ). I use it sometimes to remove TAR from my hands. I'm never w/o it, & have cans in various locations- Truck, Garage, Basement & under the kitchen sink. I'm going to give it a try. Just never crossed my mind to try it, Thanks PS, maybe George could try it first & report back to us? LOL

I've built some of NYC tunnels & highways in the past10 years, & I would have used Re-bar if I was parking a 5-ton truck in that structure. Wire should of been used, unless he had it laying around. Just my $.02😁.

If your framing, its an angled piece of tin or aluminum that the sill plate sits on, so the termites can't get into the wood. About a 60 degree angle. Termite can't walk upside down...

Keep the water on until the last minute. I do tunnels & roadways. we keep the water on for 30 days! Lookin good, Mr Kotter! Oh I almost forgot, don't forget the Termite flange.
