    Not mine, just an alert.

The ones for organ have a built in amp. No idea if functional or decent quality.

This definitely looks like an amp out of an Allen Organ.  A couple of years ago, I acquired 6 of these 100W RMS Allen mono amps from another member here on the forum.  They are absolute monsters!  I feed them from the pre-outs on an Onkyo surround system, and then adjust the level by hand.  I don't turn them up much at all for a loud, clear sound.

...pole mount cups from the pro series they would sell?  I have two KP-1000's that are missing these, and I think I would like to be able to pole mount some KP-2002's on top of them.

If you do, I would REALLY appreciate it.  Thank you in advance!

    $300

They ended up not selling them, so I contacted them and offered full asking price if they would hold them for me until the weekend.  They kindly obliged, so I will be able to drive over Saturday morning (around 2 hours each way...).

I think they will go nicely with their big brothers, the kp-3002's.  I think I will use them both as my center channel, and move the KPT-100's to the rear of the 6.1 / 7.1 setup.

Umm, no.  That price is called the sucker search.  Unless they find a sucker then those will be sitting a long time.  That is at least triple what they are going for today.

And look at the rotted out base board.  These are in Avg/poor condition assuming all the drivers work.  Sellers list the Khorns in "like new" condition.  Umm, no.

Should I contact them and let them know I paid $900 for my 1979 Khorns in much better condition, a few years ago?

Good catch, I didn't twig onto that the first time around!

I will admit that they look to be in great condition...

Dang... alright...even a cold iron should uncurl.

    Good fortune!

If you look at the photo where the plastic is peeled back the furthest, it looks like there is a secondary line where the leading edge has curled back beneath the top layer.  Rolled underneath so to speak.  If you iron that, it will be permanently fused together.  Or so it appears to me.

I like 314's suggestion of trimming off the vinyl and replacing it with cove molding.  If sanded and trimmed properly, it should look "factory" in quality and easily replaced in the future should it become damaged.
