    Dread Zeppelin ?

Yeah, I heard their Immigrant Song when I accidently downloadied it instead of the real one, I like Led Zeppelin though.
  2. Alright, any of you who have seen Jackass the movie would know what I am talking about. The opening song when they are on the shopping cart, it's some sort of vocal song, but I do not know the name of it, anyone care to help me out?
  3. I love the feet it has, and the finish, nice job. Ok, yes, I have seen how much it cost from other threads but are there any other ways you could do this without the expensive cabinet?
  4. $400!?! Wow, I MUST do this. Was is hard? And does it necessarily have to be in the same enclosure you have there? Because it looks like it would be hard to do that part your self.
  5. wow, so many crazy ideas just came into my head, I had never even considered doing a DIY, I'm going to look into that!
  6. lol, anyone know if they have any dealers on the west coast? I'm flying there, I want to hear this!
  7. Ok, to start off (this might seem to be a rant to some of you people) I will tell you about all of my speaker upgrades. My first speakers came with my computer, rellly bad, never even used them for music. Then when I got my second computer, I got some multimedia harman kardons, they were pretty nice, i blew them out becuase i had the bass set too high. Then I "borrowed" a mini system from my dad to use for my computer, it was pretty nice, then I upgraded to a bigger mini system and the bass was crazy! Then when my dad wanted his second system back, I got a sherwood reciever (really cheap) and two bose bookshelf speakers (yea yeah, I know, they suck) and that wasn't really an upgrade, and I became more interested in audio, so in June I got the Promedia 5.1 system, it was completely amazing, I could not get over how nice it sounded compared to all of my other systems. Now I still have the reciever/bose combo, and I want to upgrade it. I was thinking about adding a ksw-15 (nice for my proce range), but even then, I think I will not have enough bass. With each upgrade, I am amazed with it for a few months, then I want MORE, I just can't have enough bass. So, does this happen with any of you? Or is it a disease?!
  8. lol when my friend talks about his new computer, he always says he is going to buy the kilpisch (or was it klipisch?) sound system.
  9. yeah ok thanks everyone, I thought it was inappropriate but hey sometimes you can think of lyrics differently. And yes, I did relize later last night, it is not a ballad!!
  10. Ok, well in school, I am doing this project on ballads, and I have to choose a song with a ballad in it, well I chose Black Dog. I need to know if this song is too inappropriate? The lyrics don't seem too bad but still, I am still questioning, "watch your honey drip, can't keep away" and "Tell me won't you you do me now." Could you interpret that?! lol
  11. ok, since you keep insisting that you actually own these speakers, I will only believe you if you prduce a picture of yourself with your hand on top of the speaker which is fully shown (nothing cut off from the picture).
  12. I agree with 101 on that, even being such a newbie to the audio world, I just can't agree that cables are the most important.
  13. has anyone actually heard the avantgardes? Also, there are more expensive speakers that that if anyone could comment on those too.
  14. ok, thanks for the replies but I got one mroe question, lets take for example the frequency response of the rf-7's it's 32Hz-20kHz±3dB , now I know that it gets down to 32 hz, up the 20 khz etc, but what does the ±3dB mean? Also if there is no real way to tell how low bass is based on specs, I assume there is no accurate wayt o tell how loud the bass gets?
