hello all. apologies for starting and disappearing for so long on this thread. the project still lives. I've gotten the jubes refinished In ebony bases and carbon fiber 3m on the k 402s. beautiful to me. and have had larry from deqx dial it in with the bms 4592s triampded. sounds very nice. but....... have just had delivered a xp 4080 preloaded with the pht xover data. will try it on a k 69 a. I know it's not a perfect file but should be a close starting point. also chris a. has blessed be with his bms 4592nd file to try in tramp. apologies again to the age of this project. cant seem to down rez my pics to show how it's coming together. 2mb just doest do. best to yall.

hi chris, could you please explain why you decided on using the bms 4592 pb be on your meh 402 over a radian, faital, tad, 691, etc.? would you use the bms for your left right if you couldn't use your tads? merry christmas!

wow, now youve got me thinking! so these education sessions, how does one find out what the schedules are? would obviously want the jubilee 402 system to be on the itinerary. thx for the tip

hi all, well as most of my projects go, this one is going slower than I'd like. my question to the 402 users out there at this point is, which would you think would be superior. jubilee 402 2 way or 3way? 3 way would only consider the bms4592 be coax. 2 way are several good 500-20khz + - options. 2 way would free up some nice rack space, chassis and remote p/s. 2 or 3 way would likely be my border patrol 300b valves on mid/highs, 8 watts tweeters, 20 watts mids, or 20 watts on the coax, and k2s on the jubs. also have a crown 4002 xti for future sub if HT use gets in the mix. my musical tastes lean towards acoustic, singer song writer, blues, acoustic jazz, classical, occationally loud rock. ld appreciate your opinions. rosey

that makes total sense, just keep reading about supplier problems, unavailability or lesser quality than earlier versions. I will try contacting klipsch again, dont think roy needs to be bothered with something like this, just hope there's replacements available. thx again

I haven't even bothered to haul them upstairs until drivers have been updated and some cosmetics have been completed before contacting deqx support to start initial calibration. it was my understanding that the k 31 e was no longer available.

thank tom, I totally agree with your use some engineering thought. the problem I'm dealing with is I've got 2 labeled k 31 e drivers installed from 2 different suppliers and they are definitely not the same. 1 I has a mfg date of aug 2016 with pulp style cone. the other jub has a different supplier code and a very light,thin, plastic cone that can be quite easily deformed. light duty? and the other 2 drivers are aftermarket that I have already found a buyer to fund a consistent driver compliment. not looking to be a Guinea pig. was hoping a quality solution had been determined. thx much.

also,fyi. I have submitted the same request to klipsch support a few weeks ago. I know their busy.

I've been searching the forums, and seems the only conversations are from 10-12 yrs ago.will be needing to replace what is currently installed and looking for best recomendations. thanks as always

progress yes, but not for reporting. I'm in the process of cosmetic as well as driver upgrades before I have them in place and ready for initial calibration. I'm hurrying!!🙃

Thanks for the confirmation coytee. Glad I'm not suffering CRS too bad. Would you say going 2way 402/k69a jubilee would be preferable to the full 535b 3way? And remember the deqx I'll be using for either configuration. Just a starting point opinion, as I'll be going back to school so to speak with the deqx with some factory support for the initial efforts. The again

Helo again Chris ! Yes, I'm asking for your support in my deqx 535b 3 way? 2 way conversion, using the deqx. I intend to show the community the efforts in most any format I can figure out and will welcome everyone's ideas. Truth is best and hope this takes all closer👍
