Sounds like you work your *** off to provide, which is the right thing to do. Keeping yourself a little happy is also the right thing to do, so enjoy your speakers. It's not like those speakers are the one thing causing all of your problems. Neither are they the one thing that can solve all your problems if sold. Hang in there. A roof, food and family, that's all you need (plus speakers of course).

I guess the metallic part of "cerametallic" must be aluminum. I checked the specs and they mention aluminum, Surprise to me too.

He did NOT JUST CALL THEM ALUMINUM SPEAKERS!!!!! I noticed that too, pretty funny. But I think he actually said "aluminum tweeters" while pointing to the woofers. In fact, the woofer cones are aluminum, but the tweeters are titanium, so he just jumbled the two together. I've never seen the show before, but was struck by how nervous and jittery all the cast appeared. Was this their first night? I gotta say though, I kinda like the feel it had. Like a bunch of gadget freaks and geeks just took over a TV studio and started a show.

It sounds like an easy choice for music. The only catch is that I use them mostly (80%) for HT. I think I might run into problems with them not matching my SC-1 center at all.
