@MicroMara me thinks me knows what you're up to... You can run but you can't hide... Inquiring minds wanna know!!! 5 days ago I picked up my two Cayin tube mono amplifiers from the revision. For this I drove over 700 miles. Both power amps had new transformers and all 6 filter capacitors replaced. In addition, all tubes were checked and the circuit with additional fuses in front of the output stage transformers modified. The power test resulted in the following : 49.7 WpC / 8 Ohm with a distortion of less 0,45 %. Mmmmhmmmmm...

Van Morrison is always good. That's a great album because, at that point in time with it being his second album, he went HIS direction. His first lp "Brown Eyed Girl" hit HARD and resonated with millions in 1967. The public craved more so he went HIS direction with the "Astral Weeks" album in 1968. People didn't comprehend the message he was sending, which caused slow sales. Today, after he went back in that direction on tours, they discovered how good he really was. Couple days at the Hollywood Bowl proved that with the release of those shows as a "live" album. It's got him all over it. Nice score @MeloManiac! Thanks for the share! Memories brother, memories!

Nothin's a joke when it comes to snow and ice. I spent a week out in the famous Ohio blizzard of ''78. Had to check on an elderly couple one day. Their ranch was completely drifted over. Yup, they were fine. Had a lil place shoveled to get the back door open and they huddled around a lil kerosene heater and used candles. The next day I got to deliver my first baby! hahaha Barometric pressure dropped and so did this woman's kid. THAT was a treat. lol People are just like those cattle and animals when it comes to survival.

Bought a big 2x Cub Cadet electric start a couple years ago. Went all out w/the heated grips Cut thru my driveway like butter. 15 minutes I was done. Put it into the garage took my Army gloves off and my hands were ice in the time it took me to shut it down. Stay safe up there! Next round is Thursday "they" say. Gotta feel for those w/no power though. THAT would not be good w/the low temps.

Ok, I'm on the coffee IV and just raised the garage door to check out the drive. Seriously? There's like a foot out there! City went by and rolled a lot over into the drive so it's gonna be fun. Temp is 16 sooooo. This is NOT right. I'm totally ON it shortly!

I cranked out a big pot of ham and bean soup yesterday. Oldest daughter stopped today, started filling containers and left me with enough for a couple days maybe. Then I can crank out some more chili. Making a dent in the freezer beef but gonna have to get on it and make it disappear. Calling for 7-12 here by morning then clearing out til Thursday when we get more. About 5 inches down now.
