I had the exact problem....When I would plug in the cable from my sub amp to my Denon receiver a buzz would start....I tried everything but to no avail....One day I happened to unplug the cable going into my tv...voila...no more buzz....Anyways, out of curiosity, disconnect your cable and see what happens....

I was also able to experience Sean's HT and it was quite impressive..The dual SVS Ultra's rock! Unfortunately he didn't completely roll out the red carpet for me as the only beer he offered was Miller..Other than the beer controversy, I was quite pleased with my visit!!

Eric Clapton is sooooo overated....The guy has no signature....Eddie???? Yeesh....Neil and Robbie Robertson are much better guitarists but highly underated....

Neil Young gets no respect as a guitarist..He is not the most technically gifted guitarist that's for sure, but his soul comes out of every note the guy plays..There are a lot copy cat players on this list but Neil is not one of them..He is one the greatest because he has a style all his own that is ummistakeable..That's the mark of a great guitarist..Strip away all the instruments and voices, if you can recognize the guitar player, then you have a master..Neil's peers would agree as well..Willie Nelson needs to on this list to.....

After researching this forum, I trouble shooted my ground loop problem and found out by removing the cable from my T.V the humming disappeared..Question..How do I hook up the cable again and not have the humming and buzzing reapear????

Thanks for all the help the other night. I reset the memory on the Denon and every thing worked after that..Center channel must have been turned off.....

Do you need the tv menu to set up the channels??

Khorn Kerry I was adjusting the levels on the receiver itself as I could not get the on screen menu to appear on the tv....Is there a way to do it manually?? I bet the center channel is turned off like you indicated....

This beast is just too complicated..The manual isn't helping and the Atkis remote is not the easiest thing to manouvere..It's probably something simple I hope..How do I "tell it" that I am using a center channel??

Just put it in Cinema mode and I still get every channel display except the center..I hope it's something simple..

I have finally got around to hooking up my surround system but unfortunately am having trouble with my center channel hookup. When selecting sound levels for each of the channels, every channel comes up on the AVR5800 display except for the center channel mode..Any of you Denon owners have any ideas?? The center channel is hooked up but no sound... Thanks Art

I just received my 16-46CS Plus sub and have no idea how to hook up the thing..My receiver is a Denon 5800 and the amp is a 2 channel Carver M500T..Any help, hookup diagrams, would be appreciated.

Lynm Thanks....They were well worth it.... check out www.buysellzone.com..This ad paper comes out each Friday in Toronto and you can access the adds for free..My k_horns were listed in this paper for over 5months..I figured something must have been wrong with them but when I finally checked them out, they were pristine..There was a pair about two years ago,1990's I believe for $2000 cdn. I reached the seller a week too late.... Good luck....
