  1. I hear you. I like Russell Wilson, but the arrogance of some others is un called for. I'm not a Seahawks fan, but I'm REALLY not a Packers fan, simply because they are the Bear's biggest rivalry. Pats will make for a better SB.
  2. No Do you have a computer and internet? Try the Gamecast on ESPN: http://espn.go.com/ No live video feed, but at least following the score and highlights. Thanks!
  3. Congratulations! What town are you in? I want to hear some Belles someday. Also an Outlaw, here. Have fun!
  4. I'm 80 miles NW of Chicago and can pull the main channels 90% of the time. Have a Roku3 and have NFL Now on. I think it is something on CBS Chicago's end...no go with Rockford either. Searched for a way to stream it, but not coming up with anything. Only have OTA, oh well. Thanks for the score update. May have to go AM radio. I'm in the stone age,
  5. I don't know what the heck is in the atmosphere, but CBS' OTA broadcast is #$%^ing me and I can't get the AFC championship. What's the score?
  6. Vegetarians eat fish? Where's that salmon burger recipe?
  7. Yes! Yes! Yes! Wait a minute, "There's no crying in FOOTBALL"
  8. Do you love this game, or what? Crosby's hair grayed from the last time he had his helmet off...C'mon Seattle!
  9. Coffee down, Bloody's down, and finally drummies and beers...Oh, and 3 USB cables to post photo...mouse, 2nd portable monitor and camera USB.
  10. Thanks. English Black Lab. Shorter, stockier & more blocky than common labs. Same dog as my old avatar which was when he was a pup. This one was probably when he was 2..He is now 6 almost 7.
  11. Crazy Lopsided time of possession. I would love to be a fly on the wall during the Hawk's half time lecture.
  12. I took a few lessons when I was 33...remember saying to myself, "I ought to be pretty good by the time I'm 40". I'm now 51 and still suck, but I am still trying and when my guitar is in my hands I drink less. I'm giving it a better run this year. You have to attempt to play songs you like and not just boring exercises, all though important. Keep it going! Maybe Stew will help us stay motivated.
  13. Better quiet down...your Jumping your team off sides too much. What the heck are they choking? Get 'em going or I may have to pass on the Super Bowl this year if the cheese heads are there.
  14. Still throwing Cameron's Highlander Grogg down the hatch and going to prepare some Bloody Mary's and hot drummies for the Playoffs. Latley, I've only been shaving once a week too and have to take the electric razor to my ears. How's the guitar lessons going Tarheel?
  15. Should be one heck of a game. I hope both games are played and officiated clean.
  16. You are in my prayers Wakejunkie. I hope you get better every day.
  17. Trying the EXT. STEREO mode now. That one?
  18. No that sounds horrible. I love the sound of stereo recordings when I select "Enhanced Stereo" which is my NAD T175HD pre/pro's implementation of "all channel stereo". The sound really envelopes the listener while maintaining spot on imaging with a huge soundstage. The NAD's version is leaps and bounds better than any other brands AllCh.St. that I have ever heard. Bill Yes & No. I listened to CD's and Pandora in "7 Stereo" 90% of the time with my 11 year old Outlaw processor and my reference 7.1 setup. I think it was Cirrus Surround technology. I liked it. It crapped out and I swapped it out with a Pioneer Elite AVR a couple months back, and it does not have this format so I have been listening in stereo mode, but it falls short in my room and I miss the enveloping 7 stereo format. I haven't has a lot of time to explore, but based on brief listening of the other available formats, none sound as good as the 7 stereo mode the Outlaw offered. I know the Elite has extra surround formats, but something big is missing or I haven't found the right settings. With my 2-channel Sansui SS 9090DB and Khorns or Forte's, obviously always pure stereo with the sweet spot smack dab in the middle. Close my eyes and sometimes it's like wearing some damn good headphones.
  19. Happy BirthdAy! PARY TIME!
  20. Yes, me too...Happy Birthday Weekend! Let the party continue!
  21. I hope Indy defeats NE and I simply can't root for the Packers, as I am a Bears fan. You can't go both ways like some soft Bear fans. Sorry, I respect Rogers, but no, the Seahawks will conquer. The Seahawks fan base is unbelievable...loud and totally in to it. Have you ever seen so many painted faces? Loud, crazy fans. Any team to upset the Seahawks on their turf deserves to go to the Super Bowl.
  22. Hi guys. Been absent from the forum for a bit over a week. Still digesting the sad news about Boxx I saw late last night. Very sad and he was only 59 and in his very early retirement years. I hate seeing this happen after years of hard work and success. R.I.P. Boxx Just got caught up here and looks like all is well and glad Aubrey is doing better. Getting tired of battling the frigid weather here and going through a lot of wood, but what would you expect with heating the house with a wood burning stove. Takes a lot of wood to maintain 60+ degrees when it dips down to -9 at night (-35 wind chills). A different climate will be in the cards someday when I retire. Need to feed the stove...stay warm!
  23. I saw this very sad announcement last night after checking in on the forum for the first time since the 3rd. Was up till 1:00 this morning reading through all the posts here and in RTM…30+ pages of kind words for a man we all have great respect for. I did not want to believe it…hoped it was not true and I would awake today with it just being a bad dream. I looked forward to his humorous posts and the daily pics of his music selections with his audio gear in the background. I hoped to meet him someday in person. His legacy here will live on in “Right This Minute”. His unexpected passing is very unfortunate and my thoughts and prayers for continued strength are with Mrs. Croft, Alex, Genevieve and his entire family and friends. I bet Doak is also missing him in a big way. Thank you for including us in this very difficult time and please continue to post when you care to. Boxx will be missed by the entire community. Your presence will help fill his irreplaceable void. R.I.P. Boxx
  24. Happy Birthday! I think he may be having a fling with...
  25. Happy New Years Eve! Glad to see the condition and symptoms have an official name...Earitis I may have to create a work and reward program to visit the Forum Garage Sale & Alerts sections, only after I have earned it. My priorities have been a little off whack but I have not exceeded a 150 mile round trip gig, yet. Where is the Audio Aholics thread? "Hello, my name is Todd, and I 'm an Audio Aholic. I think I may have Earlitis." There I admitted I have a problem. I feel much better and feel I deserve to crank some tunes and have a drink. Everyone, have a safe New Years Eve and a healthy and prosperous 2015!
