If your not hiding something in the base horn I would get rid of the grill cloth there, and show more of the wood. The veneer is to nice to cover up. Too difficult to veneer inside the doghouse. Where'd you source it? www.wendellfabrics.com A couple of months ago they were out, but they were supposed to make another batch. It's a little shinier than I'd like, but it still has that classic look. It's Mellotone MD4134, 64" wide and about $20 a lineal yard.
