rplace
Since as of late we all have opinions on the best sounding Van M. or DSOTM LP I was wondering if any of you have advice for a killer sounding Bob Marley LP. Looking at the recent 180g reissue of Exodus, but open for any BMatW's you might like. I needs me some wax for Bob, getting tired of the CD. YaMon, Thanks! seti
Are you familar with the 4 cd set Songs Of Freedom. It has some amazing rare and early versions of his work. Acoustic Medley is one of my faves. It is just Bob runing through some simple songs on his guitar. Time Will Tell is also one of my faves and this version is great. Is it the best Marley for quality. I do not know but it is one of the best collections imo. The early records are rough but that was the nature of early recordings in Jamaica. If your also into Toots and the Maytals there have been some incredible reissues in the last couple years. If I had a time machine first trip would be to an early double bill of Marley and Toots. capo72
THIS sounds amazing on wax. HERE is a little more info. version. That looks pretty cool. I'm gonna have to buy that. I'm a big fan of reggae, dancehall, rocksteady, and dub style. I've had very little luck finding well recorded Bob Marley or much of any of these styles, on vinyl. I have a few Marley albums and none of them sound good, but the message is blissful! Jeremy
