mcp Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 Hi -- I have an opportunity to buy a pair of Heresy III's (cherry) locally for $900. I've not heard them; I used to own H II's and really liked them. In many ways, I preferred them to the Fortes I owned. They didn't extend as low in the bass, but the bass was faster and more accurate than the Fortes, in my opinion. Maybe the Forte's overloaded my 13 X 17 room. I would drive the Heresy III's with my beloved H/K 430 or 730 receivers. How do the v. III's compare to the v. II's? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Islander Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 I have only heard one Heresy III, the one I converted from a Heresy II with the factory upgrade kit. The III sounds much better than the II, with stronger bass and clearer vocals. The difference could be heard immediately. I'm planning to upgrade my other three Heresy IIs to Heresy III spec.
