artto
Well, not quite. But........ Lately I’ve been watching re-runs of “3rd Rock from the Sun”. The other night Harry (French Stewart) decides it’s a “nobrainer” to join the record club and get 10 CDs for one cent. And all he has todo “buy 10 more at regular club prices which are always at regular retailprices or lower”. We all know the story behind that one. Pretty soon boxes ofCDs start showing up that Harry doesn’t want. Dr. Solomon (John Lithgow) grabs a CD, holds it up in theair to examine it and exclaims “How primitive!!! I wonder when these barbarianswill discover how good vinyl sounds!!!!”

It went out on a high note. "such primitive technology i wonder if the people on this planet will ever discover the superior sound of vinyl" My other fave quote was "this isn't a joint its a french fry". If you'd like to catch up it is a good episode http://www.tvlinkscript.com/watch.php?id=6709
