Allan Songer
And worth every penny to a Radio collector--this is the Bugatti Royale or Duesenberg SJ Roadster of Radios. I was lucky enough to see one of these a few years ago--the build quality is un-feaking-believeable. I would love to build a glass housing for one of these and display it in my living room! Just the thing to listen to Vin Scully on!
kenratboy
Absolutly unbelivable... 620 lbs! That is AMAZING! I can't believe they had that stuff in the 1930's. I know what the Great Gatsby's stereo must have looked like! It's amazing how much that thing costs for being that old! Cars are one of the few mechanical devices that retain/appreciate that sort of value. Truely amazing... ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come. KLIPSCH soon! My computer is better than my stereo!

fini
Do you really think they needed a cute woman to sell those beasts back in the 30's? Man, imagine the bachelor pad you'd have... Alan- Don't tell me you're a Dodger's fan? I still like you...and Scully is a classic, probably one of the top 5 most recognizable voices in broadcasting. I do prefer Lon Simmons, though! fini
