Crites Titanium Tweeter Diaphragms...

I got a pair of Titanium tweeter diaphragms for my recently returned
Klipsch kg2s today...arrived quickly after ordering and perfectly
packed...

I took the kg2s down and had minor problems with the tweeter removal
but after removing the rear passives, the pushed right out with minimal
effort...

Since my needle nose pliers are over at the GF's, I pressed a pair of
scissors into service to remove the three nuts (only two on Quartet, KG
5.5s and Chorus tweeters I have done this upgrade to in the
past)...further, the kg2s have no protection across the front so be
mindful when installing the Titanium diaphragms...don't want to damage
them...

Tighten everything back up and place the kg2s (for now) atop my
Quartets...hook the speakers up and attach to my 100wpc Outlaw Audio
RR2150 stereo receiver...double check everything and then place some
John Mayer into the Cambridge Audio Azur 640c V2...

...Ahhhhh...sounds nice...they'll never replace Heritage for me
(Klipschorns, Chorus II, Quartets or Heresys) but I really like these
little kg2s...better than I liked my Reference RB-5s which I know were
a better spec'd and voiced speaker...perhaps it's because these were my
first new Klipsch back in 1989/1990 or perhaps I just prefer this
overall Heritage/Extended Heritage sound...

I believe this is a huge bang for the buck upgrade to any Klipsch
speaker that can take advantage of it...Bob and Michael Crites (BEC
on this forum) sell a quality product for a fair price that is easy
enough so that even I can install it...and it seems to yield excellent
results...for my ears...extending the highs and cleaning up a little
harshness I never knew was there except in comparison to better
speakers...

Pardon a slight hijack here. I'm thinking of doing this upgrade to my Forte IIs. I understand they have titanium drivers for tweeters, but do Bob & Michael sell replacement midrange drivers? Should I be thinking of upgrading the squawker along with the tweeter?

No titanium midrange diaphragm yet. Two attempts so far have resulted in dismal failure. We do have a very nice phenolic diaphragm now for those.
