Belles and La Scala Parts Interchangable?

Are all of the drivers and crossovers interchangable between the La Scalas and the Belles if they are from the same era (70 and 80s)?

Right, the Belle uses a K-500/501 horn, the LaScala a K-400/401

You can swap the Klipsch K510 between the two (not a drop in replacement) and get rid of the midhorn/tweeter. You now have a 2-way speaker that will probably sound better than original. Look up "Jubescala". It will work for the Belle.

I think the AB crossover hits the mid horn at 500 Hz rather than at 400 like on the ALx.A,AA.AKx etc...

HVN is correct on the Xover points. The drivers are all the same; K-33's, K-55's and K-77's. Which, other than the woofer on the Heresy, the mid horns, and the crossovers themselves, was the beauty of the classic Heritage systems. Blow a K-horn tweeter? Nemo Problemo!!! Find a used "K-77 for Heresy's" and drop it in!. Grill cloth, emblems, etc. all the same. PWK's cabinet designs, if you really look at the dimensions, were designed to take advantage of a 4x8 sheet of birch plywood with little or no waste. Pure genius!
