Coytee
How far from a PC can you put your monitor and have good quality? 10', 100'?? Does it depend on analog verses digital output? If so, what does what? Can you get a signal booster? How about converting to CAT 6 and reconverting on the receiving side? ??

Marvel
We use KVM extenders at our school. They work really well, allowing the use of CAT 5 between the units. Bruce
tromprof
I have a 50ft. RGB video cable running to my projector from the PC and the signal seems fine. I also have a couple of 50ft. HDMI cables so I can use my plasma TV as a monitor for my computers, again no problem. I have read however that some monitors are more picky about signal strength than others.
