papajr
I have picked up a pair of Klipsh speakers at the local goodwill I am trying to id. The numbers stamped on rear at top are 52 s 433, 52 s 439 on the side at top there is the letters L BB S on one and L OD L on the other they are three way speakers the high and mid range are horns the wofer looks to be approx 8 inch.I know little about Klipsch but know I have a pair I would like to know more about. Thanks in advance for any help anyone here can give.

bhendrix
1978 Heresy, walnut with riser. Either oil or lacquer, can't tell from pic.
chisoxpurdue
Definitely a heresy one. The serial number from the back will tell year as well. There was glare in the picture but that tag will tell all you want to know about the speaker.
papajr
Thanks everyone for your help with this. It does have Heresy on the tag but the serial no and model is faded and cannot read. Looks like it was hand written in red ink that can be seen in a couple spots thats about it. I removed the back off one and the mid is dated Oct 12 1977. We can give Bill a gold star for the 1978 year. So looks like I have a pair of 1978 Heresy ones for $18.91 that sound great Looks like I will putting a pair of jbl's in the closet.
