philly0116 Posted July 1, 2012 Share Posted July 1, 2012 I came across these Heresys and some custom made stands and bought them yesterday. The stands look like they could be little la scalas!! The guy I bought them from, an engineer/pilot, made the stands in '81 shortly after having purchased the Heresys straight from the factory. Sound actually carry's through the bases and resonates, not a lot, but it does. That and the Heresys are about 18" off the great, which makes them sound even better. Anyway, just thought I would share what I consider to be a great find on a great pair of 1 owner heresys and stands. Thanks for looking. But Heresys were made to be placed on the floor. They have boosted mids and treble and even out when put on the floor. Give it a try. You can do a crossover mod that pulls the mid and tweet down by 3 db if you want them up high. I did it years ago, forgot how. In any event, great looking speakers.
