Mallette
Hey, HDBR...Have I just missed you or are you newly returned? I recall you from my early days here...along with many others who've "slipped away." Anyway, good to see you back...even if it's been for a while! Spin those tapes! Mallette
Okies, having "reel" fun! The "Ode to Saint Cecilia's Day" arrived and is excellent. Looking forward to these... So MUCH on Ebay and the classical stuff is cheap. I was suprised to snag the Eileen Farrell as good jazz is NOT cheap, though if one considers the excellent quality of reels against new or used audiophile LPs it's not too bad. Dave BTW, all of these were at "base" price. Surprised to get the Command Severinson reel as well as the Farrell at that...
Wardsweb
Great thread. Thanks to Travis I'm now the proud owner of a Tascam BR-20 and it is totally wicked.

In looking at this pic you seem to have time aligned your tweeters to the mids? Or is it just the way you put them together?

Well they are close but not truely time aligned, as I would need to move the tweeter just behind the mid thoat. It is close enough for me.
