oscarsear
Got to thinking about this thread last night and a lost memory hauntingly returned - wife #2 (relationship now defunct). I recalled my initial visit to her abode. It was for supper. There they were -Ginsu knives. And not just one set mind you, but 2 complete sets. No doubt all she had to pay for set -2- was the extra shipping and handling charges. There were 2 knife blocks as well. There were 16 steak knives and dual sets of a variety of cutting instruments, even a cleaver thingy. They were dishwasher safe and had ultra durable plastic handles. Each and every handle was proudly marked GINSU in some oriental-esque script. Shoulda known then that the relationship was doomed. I was not dishwasher safe. Jeff Matthews
Given the new attachment to cell phones, which have these new-fangled gadgets called "clocks" built-in, I see no continuing purpose of a watch except for adornment. DrWho
Well you can't take your phone with you swimming....was thinking of picking up one since I can't see the lap timer without me glasses.
Jeff Matthews
Well you can't take your phone with you swimming....was thinking of picking up one since I can't see the lap timer without me glasses. True, dat. I guess the next thing is a water-proof cell phone. I predict watches will go the way of newspapers.
