yes@house of blues-1st song and DON'T MISS THE EXTRAS SECTION 5.1 version of 'homeworld'...sub-thrashing bass about 2/3rds of the way through, just before the 'quiet' ending. klf-30's and rsw-15 handle it like the champs they are!

Off the top of my head, my favorites for bass are:

Apollo 13-DTS during the launch scene. It will make you cry at full volume and a good sub, I guarantee it.

Men In Black - After the shut off the car each time, there's a very low deep rumble. I had NO idea this was here on a normal system until I bought my high-end Klipsch

U2 Rattle and Hum - During "Bad", the Bass guitar reverberates the house. Stunning.

Michael Jordan to the Max - An often unknown movie, but excellent, and I don't like basketball. Opening sequence is incredible, and ends in a low bass that will shake your teeth

Terminator 2 - Opening THX sequence has great bass

Fellowship of the Ring has LOADS of consistent bass throughout the movie, hits some serious lows. Can't wait for the DTS mix!

Fight Club not bad.

The new animated Metropolis has some great moments...

I LOVE when people talk about bass (like woofer) and say it like "base"

That is SOOO annoying!!!

I'm confused! How else do you pronounce bass? Bass and base are pronounced the same. Do you mean bass(fish) and base?

OK, bass (woofer, subwoofer) is pronounced like the "base of a pedistool", NOT like the fish.
