Wild Blue
Off the top of my head, my favorites for bass are: Apollo 13-DTS during the launch scene. It will make you cry at full volume and a good sub, I guarantee it. Men In Black - After the shut off the car each time, there's a very low deep rumble. I had NO idea this was here on a normal system until I bought my high-end Klipsch U2 Rattle and Hum - During "Bad", the Bass guitar reverberates the house. Stunning. Michael Jordan to the Max - An often unknown movie, but excellent, and I don't like basketball. Opening sequence is incredible, and ends in a low bass that will shake your teeth Terminator 2 - Opening THX sequence has great bass

dblue
Fellowship of the Ring has LOADS of consistent bass throughout the movie, hits some serious lows. Can't wait for the DTS mix! Fight Club not bad. kenratboy
OK, bass (woofer, subwoofer) is pronounced like the "base of a pedistool", NOT like the fish. ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come.
