I had an older gentleman call me today and offer to give me my full asking asking price on craigslist of $1850!!! I couldn't say no. I did have to deliver them a little over an hour away and hook them up for him. He had a pair of Fortes hooked up that he bout in 1989 and they sounded great, they are the first heritage speakers I have heard. THX speakers here I come.

Wow, now that's a gamble. Glad it worked out for you. I once delivered a TV to a guy, he tried to lowball me, I turned around and left. Figured that won't happen again. LOL

I let him know ahead of time that I needed to know that he was ready to buy and he promised he was and he would give me the full amount. I had almost taken $1650 for them and I'm really glad I didn't. He was super happy to get them for that price anyway.

Yeah, sometimes you just have to go with your gut. You can get a good feel for people when you talk to them on the phone to know whether or not they are legit and a serious buyer. Very glad it worked out for you.
