absolutv
I am leaning toward selling the SW-450 I'm using now, it doesn't have the punch I want. I think the SW-112 may be in my near future, as soon as I sell the SW-450. Probably have an ad in the garage section soon.
derrickdj1
Very nice system! I would look at some of the internet direct subs over the SW 112.

Also, the reason for the SW 112 is due to the fact I can get it bnib for $

Scrappydue
Internet direct subs will be much better over a klipsch sub. Unless you can swing the sw-115. I've heard great things about it. Maybe you can swing a nice discount on it as well. Call around for the best pricing. Try acoustic sound design. But you HAVE to call
Scrappydue
here we go..lol those rf-82's look like they have been on a diet for a while. Little slender for my taste.
ZombieWoof
you need to angle those surrounds down to where the horns are aimed at your listening positions they will sound much better when you do

absolutv
hahahaha! Nah, don't have the 82's yet! I was supposed to have picked them up saturday, but unfortunately I'm told they aren't arriving until tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed! Also, thanks for the advice, I'll angle the speakers down tonight when I get home. I had read somewhere they they needed to be tilted up so the sound can bounce off the ceiling and then back down. I'm still very green to all this and learning as I go. I never thought so many people would be commenting in my thread!
ZombieWoof
horns are the complete opposite of that advice , horns are not meant to be bouced offa the walls
absolutv
Other than audyssey what do you guys use to tune everything? It's hard to find a song or movie/video that plays certain sounds long enough to calibrate everything
Scrappydue
I just run audussey and as long as no channels are maxed out in either direction I pretty much leave it. Go into the crossovers menu and change me all to small and 80 he and then 120 for LFE and that is how MOST on here do it. There are other ways but most stuck with that. Just finished up some yard work and angled the 61's down toward the seating area. Now once the misses is done with homework I can test it out! absolutv
Immediately realized I'm going to need to upgrade the receiver sooner than I had hoped. It just doesn't seem to have the juice to drive these.
