MichaelandKlipsch
when i moved into my new home the basement looked like this After a few years of work Absolutely spectacular RH. My evolution went similarly I will post pics of my before and after this week. Im in the opposite location as you as we don’t have basements in Charleston since we are at the ocean. My theater is a dedicated room on the 4th floor surround by attic space and soundproof insulation in the walls. Mine looks just like yours did at first from your first photoI also like the color u chose for you walls . ryanm84
Not so much a revolving door as an "evolving" door. Add academy for a center and I have a 5.0 system. This was when I was still in Phoenix the day I bought the Corns. Wife heard me say they were big but she just about divorced me when she saw them next to the other "big" speakers that we already had in the living room! This just looks hilarious. I have kg4s so trying to picture these in real life just makes me laugh. I've had the kgs forever and they are pretty hefty by themselves. I moved the corns by myself several times including up 4 or 5 stairs. Now that is what I call fun!
MichaelandKlipsch
Im posting two revolving door setups. I wish i had photos all along of some of the older setups including the RF 25s, Quintets, then RF-83s in my old home but i only have a few of the RF-83s in my first setup. My rf 25s, RWS10d my dad uses in his setup now. First photo is of the Pioneer Elite 60" pro 151 Plasma and then the second setup is with the Elite 70" led with RF7iis 2 channel setup. derrickdj1
Michael, that looks like a nice room to relax in and listen to some music.
MichaelandKlipsch
This is the Dedicated theater room before with the complete RF-83 setup including RC 64, 2 RS 62s, 2 RS 52IIs and RB81 Height speakers. Then the complete THX ultra 2 with 4 KW 120 subs. The only thing missing from the photos is my Anthem D2v Pre amp which i had to send into Anthem to have the latest Software installed hoping to have it back in 2 weeks. I also just acquired a Vintage Exit light that came out of a old Movie theater in Connecticut. I plan to install it on the dimming light right over the popcorn machine next weekend. minermark
After seeing these photos, im going to need a theater room in the next house. believe it or not im in a 5 bedroom right now but without redoing the floor plan there just is not much we can do. the wife is happy with her Class A Mono Blocks in the living room, and since installing those, iv not even put the 7.1 back into service. MichaelandKlipsch
Thanks RH. The gold sconces came out of a theater as well but from somewhere else they all have lights in them but when I had the home built I didn't run electrical through the walls I it so they are just there for aesthetics. Next home ill do things different but I'm happy with how this came out. I feel like I worked on the room more than I watched movies in it lol. But it's done now and I think the only thing ill change over time is swapping projectors as newer ones come out that's all. Working with the 2 channel now is fun still a lot to learn In it I constantly read posts in 2ch

My wife wouldn’t know what the heck a class a mono block is until she saw the fedex man show up with a expensive package lol. It usually requires a lot of finesse to talk her into why I want hmm need a new amp/speaker/projector. That being said over the last 7 years of being together I have at least made her realize the difference in sound from tv speakers to a dedicated theater lol. Heck on the way to dinner last night she was listening to my Klipsch Mode m40s I even snapped a photos I was so proud at a stop light! We also have a 5 bedroom house but we turned the 5th bedroom into the theater on the 4th floor since it was more of a media room in the original builders floor plan and h had them cut some walls down and run my cabling etc while it was built. I’m glad I had them put in two 20amp dedicated circuits for all the amps. I think next home I will have a much larger room and larger screen with 3 tiers of seating. Id like to have lights put in on the rows of seating and my sconces light up. I have contemplated putting in a bigger screen in my room now as I could definitely fit a 125-130” but I don’t know that it would look that much bigger than my 115”.
