mustang guy
I don't know about the rest of you, but I have drivers of all kinds all over the place. I also have access to tools and wood. I think it would be fun to make a ridiculous :BS: speaker and call it audiophile. The crazier the better. And I'm gonna name it. Then it will live! Have any of you been tempted to do this? Have any of you ever done it?

mustang guy
I will solder with 24 carat gold and build the enclosure out of seasoned Agarwood. Needless to say, I need to build the networks using Dueland components. The drivers fastened to the enclosure with titanium screws. Lastly, the pure vicuñas wool grille cloth needs to be woven by a master Navaho weaver. I will then fasten the actual leg lamp from A Christmas Story with the tweeter facing up and doubling as the lampshade bolt. The whole thing will be meant to be hung from the ceiling using fresh white rhino gut cord interlaced with titanium. I expect the project to cost just under $120,000 per unit. Most of that expense is actually to pay the poachers to kill the white rhino. It's definitely gonna be worth it. I'm then going to list the speaker on Ebay for $280,000. I think you should put lots of drivers in it and design a proprietary equalizer that it must have to run. That way you can up the price some more and call it a BS901 ! Taz
I've always wanted to stack Klipschorns, but that isn't crazy... I actually measured for this but was about 6 inches shy of enough room.. John
