oldenough Posted March 20, 2014 Share Posted March 20, 2014 A little research of the history of Crimea will show you that it is not the "tragedy" some may think, and I'm talking of 20th/21st century history. This is seen more as a tragedy by western nations only for political reasons. If you look at BOTH sides of the argument it's a little harder to discern who is the villain. That is not to say that what has happened is not illegal under international law, but hey we don't seem to mind breaking those same laws when it suits us.
