brentwilson
Father just passed away, these were his babies. Not quite sure what to ask for them, but would like them to go to a good home. Located in Sacramento, CA. If I made any rookie mistakes in my post, my apologies in advance....

Location, condition and what version they are will all play a part as to what you might get. The easiest way to determine the version is to remove the grills and see how lone the port tubes are. They will be ~ 2.5" or ~ 6". Also, are the horns dark grey or black? Are the serial numbers on the tags consecutively numbered? Any close pictures showing the wood helps too. brentwilson
so far, looks like the CF-3's version/series 1 has a 5.25" port tube. Outside of calling Klipsch and giving them the serial numbers, how do you know if you have version 2 or 3 that have the smaller port tube? thanks in advance
runninshine
I've only heard good things about those speakers, I would love to have a pair.
Moderators Youthman Posted March 12, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 12, 2014 I'm truly sorry for the loss of your father. Your father had good taste in speakers. I've owned two pair of CF-2's and a pair of CF-4's. The CF series are fantastic speakers. I'm not sure what CF-3's sell for. I sold my CF-2's in Aug of 2011 for $225 and my CF-4's for $700 in Feb of 2013. Hope that helps.
