eth2 Posted April 14, 2014 Share Posted April 14, 2014 (edited) Just got Mike's Peach back from Mark, It sounds sooo nice (even with the hum in the amp). I didn't realize how different the amp could sound with this tube preamp. Mark built a fantastic preamp. This has given me new resolve to get to the bottom of the noise issue, rather than going to a ss setup (Also Joe brought me back to my senses). My nephew is a newly minted circuits engineer and I am confident he can get to the bottom of the noise issue when he can get here. Let's see if my brother-in-law spent his tuition savings wisely.
