Audible Nectar
Audiogon Cornwall II's If these were local, I would grab them. Seller wants local pickup only - Stockton, Ca. One has cabinet damage, but the one would be good for a center.
dbflash
Why are there so many Cornwalls in Ca or Texas? Somebody in the Southeast must have a pair they want to get rid off. Thanks for listening to me vent. Danny

edster00
Yea, but the seller listed all 4 speakers in one auction. Someone got a great deal on those! This message has been edited by edster00 on 07-17-2002 at 05:52 PM

Jobman
Ok, I live about 35 miles from the guy, and I have been emailing him about these. They have sequential serial numbers, he says 81 but they have an "X" in the number so they must be 82 or 83? and a little damage on the bottom riser, a rather large chip. Sounds like nothing to serious. Medium Oak finish and still not sure of the grill cloth color - I think I will be brown. For $375 it is a no brainer, even for Cornwall II's. Unless there is something drastically wrong with them, I will pick them up Saturday and give a report. Then I can give Jazman back his Cornwall I's that he has been so gracious to let me borrow, and I can compare these with the Chorus II's I bought. Since I used to have a pair of '79 CW's, it will be interesting to compare. Previous posting have said the CW I's are far superior. Should be fun. Jobman
db: Well, in another thread, there is a race going on between El Cheapo and myself to see who can get there the fastest to get them. Should be interesting, and since I am stuck here at work, who knows!
