philly0116
I recently bought a new tv stand. It is all enclosed. I am installing ventilation fans on the sides that I bought through amazon, http://www.amazon.com/AC-Infinity-AI-CFD80BA-Quiet-Cabinet/dp/B009CNR0I6/ref=pd_cp_hi_0, to help keep the electronics cool inside. Should I be blowing cool air across the electronics or pulling the hot air out? Don't laugh, lol. I'm confused and need help!
CECAA850
Exhaust hot air from the top of the unit. Be sure there's a way for cool air to get in on the bottom.
muel
Exactly! If running two fans, pull in cool air from the bottom and exhaust out the top. If running one fan, exhaust from the top and have open vent at bottom.

beeker
I better stay outta here or something could blow up. Seriously though get a laser thermometer and keep a check on the components as you get this adjusted...or just give things a good feel to compare to the temp you know they already stay at. philly0116
I ordered 3 more fans for 4 total. Should do the trick.
jason str
Put a filter on the intake to keep dust down to a minimum.
