Matthews
I have been using Photobucket to attach pictures to my posts. They are crummy and compressed on the posting page. Then once opened are still of bad quality. Can someone please help me post better pictures for our viewing pleasure? How do you do it? Thank you in advance - off to work... CECAA850
Photobucket seems to work fine for me. You can also post straight from your computer if you're not over your limit.
Schu
either one will work(or any other site)... it's not the hosting site that is the issue, it could be original is a compressed picture of low quality. make sure when you copy the code, that you are copying a version of the picture that is of sufficient resolution to get your point across... these hosting sites all offer multiple version of the same picture, so you may be using a code from a low res version of the picture. this forum will auto size the copy and pasted picture to the browser so feel free to use the version you want, but the larger megapixel versions will be difficult for people to see on smaller screens when they are on low res settings and they expand the picture, so it's best to use a moderately sized picture of 1000-1600 pixels(width) copy and paste the URL in this code with no spaces: [ img ] URL HERE [ /img ] this is a universal code for posting a picture and it works for any site on the interweb. mustang guy
I use photobucket, and the pictures come out fine. Here is an example of an older picture: I just clicked on the [direct link] while viewing in photobucket, then came over to the Klipsch message I am creating, and click the Image icon. Just paste, and click OK.
mustang guy
One other thing occurs to me. It could be that the pictures you are uploading are being reduced in resolution. Here is a link I found that shows how to increase the resolution, and even keep the original size. Photobucket Upload Size Options Hope that helps.
