I'd phase out your subs for something better eventually, but in the meantime if all you can do is 2.2, then do so. Having a strong pair is better than a weak set of five. I got my first pair of Klipsch when I was 14, and never looked back since. It took me many years to save up to get all of the other pieces of the puzzle together, but I learned a lot doing it, and had a lot of fun. I think you'll be a lot happier if you sink that 1K in a good strong pair or cover your main channels first before proceeding to the rears. I'd drop the mixing of brands, again...having a strong pair is better than a weak set. Ok, i am going to sell the miccas and get (two) Klipsch KF-28 Icon fronts and the Klipsch KC-25 Icon center channel. If that's what you feel would be best for you. I personally would keep a watch on my local craigs list or ebay though. Icons to me are a total waste of money because for just a fraction more you can have reference. If 1000 is your budget wait a couple more weeks and get rf-62ii and rc-62ii from acoustic sound design for 1150 delivered to your door.
