jackstraw
My father recently passed and he has a 1956 Klipschorn Floor Speaker. Can anyone estimate it's value for me? Haven't tested it in 10 years, but it worked then. Edited October 9, 2014 by jackstraw

jimjimbo
Hi Jackstraw, condolences on your loss... If you could provide more photos of all sides, top, the rear networks, that would be helpful. Good quality photos would be great. And to confirm, there is only one?
jackstraw
Only 1 speaker. I don't believe it has been painted. It was once used in the Alabama Theater in Birmingham. Edited October 3, 2014 by jackstraw

ChuckAb3
Pictures will help a lot. My dad had a single K-Horn which sounded great. Wish I had it today.
jackstraw
I'll post more. I've posted to the garage sale forum found on this page. What sites should I use to post/sell this?

lilwing
I read somewhere that Paul K marketed the khorn as primarily mono. I was only 5yrs old in '56 but I have a pretty good memory and I don't remember Stereo then. I bet he was glad when people decided they needed two! That speaker is wonderful. My '59 khorns are serial number 1413 and 14. If my memory serves me.
