Boxx
I had a salesman recommend to me Arcam components for both two channel and HT use. I know nothing about this gear. Any thoughts?
Moderators Youthman Posted October 15, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 15, 2014 All I know is it's expensive.
ChuckAb3
Arcam seems to have its proponents, but hardly anyone in my area carries it. Hard to get a hands-on audition. I have seen various comments on Audiogon over the years. You may find the information you're looking for in the Audiogon forums. Good luck. Moderators Youthman Posted October 15, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 15, 2014 I believe Magnolia in Best Buy carries Arcam.
K5SS
I have been considering getting back into the separates world again and Arcam and D-Sonic are on my short list. My buddy has a 2 channel Arcam driving some ML's and it sounds fantastic.
derrickdj1
I believe Magnolia in Best Buy carries Arcam. It depends on where you like. Some of the Magnolia store may carry it and others will not. Our Magnolia stores does not have the McIntosh equipment. Being near Chicago, go figure. Boxx, considering the gear you already have, it may be a lateral move at best. Edited October 16, 2014 by derrickdj1
tigerwoodKhorns
I have one of their tuners. Nice equipment but I would not buy it. What are you looking at or just seekign general info?
