RockOn4Klipsch Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Anyone know much about them? Would they match well with khorns? Would trading la scalas for them be a fair trade? The heathkits have been reworked with New caps and resistors. What other tube amps should I be looking at? I'm hoping to trade either the la scalas or rf5s or some amp heads for a tube stereo setup. russ69 Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 I can only speculate having never heard the Heathkits. It is a 1950s design and the noise specification looks a little high. They may be great, I just don't know but are they as valuable as a pair of LaScalas? I wouldn't think so unless they are collectable for some reason.
