Superdave
I want to give my first impression of the sound system. WOW!! Holy Cr@p! I have not tested it with any music yet, just one movie, The Dark Knight. It gets very intense when the 4-18's come in, it actually flexes the basement windows and doors! In the middle of the room it registers 125db with the pre/pro volume set to 72 and +0 gain on the subs. During the movie when a gunshot fires, it is tactical, you feel this huge amount of bass punching you in the chest, i just love it. Can't wait to get some more movies to watch. Does anyone have a Dolby Atmos Demo disc that I could try? Thank you to all that have helped me with the guidance and opinions on this project!

I like the cables. I may try my hand at that this summer. It sound like you have a great HT Dave! Superdave
derrickdj1, btw, concerning rear subs placement, double stacked in the corner works great!

If that bike was mine I think I'd be sleeping next to it. That is NICE Thanks. The chopper was a project that I built in my basement over a 5 month period back in 2005. It was an awesome bike. Loud, long and low. It's somewhere in Texas now, sold it many years ago. Is your last name Osborne? Lol. That's how it got the nickname, from crashing on motorcycles. Many years back I raced superbikes. I can still ride wheelies though!! Edited April 17, 2015 by Superdave
Superdave
Heres a pic of how I mount the center speaker.
Superdave
These are actually (2) tv mounts that worked great. The photo makes it look as if the speaker is tipping down, but it is not, it actually has a slight angle upward. The mounts are screwed into well supported doubled studs, it's very stable.
