tigerwoodKhorns
Yes, lens shift is totally different than Zoom Memory feature. One is a position, the other is a Preset So does the Panny 8000 automatically adjust between 16:9 and 2.35?

Paducah Home Theater
Yes, lens shift is totally different than Zoom Memory feature. One is a position, the other is a Preset So does the Panny 8000 automatically adjust between 16:9 and 2.35? Once you zoom out automatically I think you have to manually hit a switch to change positions so what is being projected is still on the screen. JVC will do both automatically, and apparently Sony can do neither. Edited February 19, 2015 by MetropolisLakeOutfitters
Moderators Youthman Posted February 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 19, 2015 Panny is fully automatic. I never have to touch my zoom memory settings

Boxoffice Buff
Are you doing a anamorph lens? I didn't know you could do curved without one Elite Screens and users in other forums say that you can use the curved screen without an A-lens. The projector image would need to be slightly zoomed out. I am not doing A-lens for now.
