TheHummer
Some of you read my post that i bought myself a onkyo Tx-NR828. But what kind of klipsch is the best speaker to make my music and films come alive. Right now i'm playing with the rf52's 4x and sub is the sw10 and the center is the rc 52 But still miss something, and don't know what it is precisely. Moderators Youthman Posted April 2, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 2, 2015 Not trying to knock your speakers, but your sub will for is a huge part of the movie experience and unfortunately that subwoofer is not going to provide that earthshaking base that you're probably looking for. The RC-52 are great speakers but I would suggest at least trying to move towards one of the following: RF82 / RC62 RF5 / RC7 RF7 / RC7 RF63 / RC7 RF83 /RC64 I have aowned all except the RF63 and RF82 but have heard both and they are great speakers. Moderators Youthman Posted April 2, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 2, 2015 I personally have never been pleased with the sound of the RC52. I heard it with a pair of RF82 and it simply just could not keep up. There are plenty of other speakers as well that would provide that lively sound (CF3, CF4, KLF20, KLF30, Forte, Chorus, LaScala etc). Just see what you can find a great deal on and we can help guide you as to whether or not it would be a significant improvement over what you have now
Scrappydue
Yep. Sub would be my first priority. Give us a budget your working with? We can point you in the direction we would go
