bluesboy
My buddy Wipster as some of you might have seen just hooked up with a pair of nice 87 Belles. He installed a pair of Crites x-overs which was a big improvment over ths worn out ABs that came with the Belles. I've got a pair of ALK original universals that I was going to let him try out. My question for any of you guys using universals with Belles is what tap setting on the auto-former seems to work the best?
jcmusic
For me when I was using them it was -12db...
Max2
I use something similar to Universals on LaScala's. For factory drivers I like -6, but like mentioned, its going to come down to the room and most importantly what his ears like.
bluesboy
Thanks guys for the input. I guess I'll start off at -7 and go from there.
Deang
"ALK original Universals" You will be using taps "4" and "X". The manual for the original design is still available at Al's site.
