I amazed at how many time expensive gear is shown in a room with with cheap min-blinds or PVC vertical blinds. It shows the owners' priorities. One of the last hi-end audio salons in this area has cheap aluminum mini-blinds in the front window that are always closed. The least expensive phono cartridge in there that they would shame you into buying costs several times the cost of some nice wood blinds. But no, better to have the public face of the business be crappy and bent (essentially redundant) aluminum mini-blinds. They send a subliminal message to clientele to come inside and make yourself comfortable on aluminum folding chairs to listen to outrageously expensive speakers on shelves made out of cinder blocks and plywood.
