teaman
www.theplayerstribune.com/a-guy-like-me/ Any hockey fans? This is a very cool read about little played NHL enforcer John Scott that was asked by the league to decline the fan vote including him in the game. He ended up scoring two goals in the game and was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise meaningless game. I am not personally a big fan of his but this was a great moment and this post is worth a read. http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/2016/1/16/10777618/john-scott-all-star-game-trade-coyotes-nhl-canadiens-wife-kids Edited February 1, 2016 by teaman

akdave
I loved that he went (even after they traded him to the minors!) and that he had an impact on the game! Great story for him!
Gnote
John Scott played for my Blackhawks for a while. I always thought he had a great personality ! If you watch some of his fights (and he Can fight ) He is usually classy enough to let his opponents go ,once he realizes they are beaten. I think the fact that the superstars welcomed him with open arms shows the kind of character he has.
