Grizzog
"The <brand model> speaker ushers in a new era in music reproduction. For the first time, listeners can enjoy the audiophile dream of the most natural sound, highest level of detail, and spacious sound, with the awesome impact, deep bass, lightning fast speed, and ultra-wide dynamic range that can only be achieved by new speaker technology using very high efficiency drivers." - from this particular manufacturer's product page. I just thought some here may get a kick out of the description. I removed the brand name to not call out the particular speaker, but that is the actual copy. How can they possibly write this is a new technology? I thought it may have been written that new technology is separate from high efficiency, but I found another description that points directly at the high efficiency drivers as being new tech. Moderators dtel Posted February 21, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 21, 2016 Well the mid 1940's is kind of new in the overall picture They can say anything, like "Better sound through research" when it should be " better sales through marketing "
Paducah Home Theater
That's not even the most eyebrow raising statement in regards to these guys: http://www.monoandstereo.com/2011/12/interview-with-mark-levinson-daniel.html "Most acoustic treatment destroys the sound." say what? Basically tube amps suck, acoustic treatment sucks, Audessey sucks. And the kicker, guess what his mantra is? "No bullshit."
