wvu80
Well after a lot of consideration I ended up going with the RP-440C. Nice. Let us know how it works out with your other speakers. I know you think now that it may be overkill, but let's hear what you think after listening to it for a while. +++ Leaning towards an Onkyo TX-NR646 but not fully committed yet. I have the older Onk 717 and love it. It has modern technology and features in it and it sounds great with my Klipsch and other horn driven speakers. I'm not saying there aren't better AVR's out there, I'm just saying the Onk won't be your worst choice. I would advise you to carefully read the Onk specs. As much as I like my Onk the advertising is misleading, in particular the power ratings "with ONE channel driven." You may not be getting as much power to drive your speakers as you might first think.
Scrappydue
Trust me it won't be overkill.
SneakerRob
Wish I could've found a deal like that. I wanted the r25c to match my r-26f's when I bought them, but ended up with the rp250c because it was on sale cheaper than the r25c. Let's just say I can't wait to swap my r-26f's to rp250f's or rp260f's soon.
nitrofan
I'm a strong believer in getting the best biggest center you can afford or have room for. You will not regret it. If you're worried about it being overpowering or whatever you can always tone it down. However you can't do the opposite with a crappy or even not as good center.
