teaman
Lars, are you looking for a simple two channel receiver for music only or a multi channel receiver for possible HT? I have a nice Panasonic SA-HE 200 six channel receiver that sounds equally well in two channel mode. I believe it is 130 wpc@6 ohms. It comes with remote. I actually preferred the Panasonic to my Yamaha RX-V27900. $100 shipped http://www.crutchfield.com/S-nJZceeBxFOL/p_133SAHE2HS/Panasonic-SA-HE200-Silver.html Tim Edited March 15, 2016 by teaman
Rivervalleymgb
How cheap? I have a few, I need to free up some space. I do have a Sansui 7 Deluxe gone through by Paul Hovenga, but I need to recover my costs on it. I wasn't going to sell it, but I am willing to help you out. I have more I could let go more cheaply. I have an early HH Scott SS that is currently powering a pair of CF-2. I have a several HT receivers that sound really good in two channel; Denon, Yamaha. Rivervalleymgb
I also have my current HT receiver, a Sony DA5300 ES. Sounds excellent in two channel mode and has a phono input. Don't need to sell it, but I have a Pioneer unit that I need to put in its place. I just haven't yet because I can't lift the damn thing! HiFi Heaven
How about a LUXMAN R-114? Very dynamic clean 50+50 WPC, awesome tuner. $125 + shipping at my cost (FedEx account discount) from Minneapolis.
Karsoncookie
Thank you all for some VERY generous offers. I will play / examine more closely with my current receiver next few days, and go from there. Lars
Karsoncookie
Posted 18 March 2016 - 09:17 PM My receiver is OK ! Apparently, I had a button pushed in engaging "DNC Simulated Mode Stereo". When I turn that off, my sound is just fine ! Broken horn and input cup standoffs fixed with PVC pipe cement. All good now. Lars Thank you all for offers !!
