HIFI4EVER
It's not just white, and looks to have something else in it. I don't think it's off white either. I love it, but don't see it sold.
Karsoncookie
Are you able to get close up pics? These look like maybe not in your possession, if not, just source of the photo may lead to more detective usable lead info. And also, is it really just the color that you like? There's probably way more to it than just color - Texture, blending of differing color fibers as you mentioned, etc. Give more info. PHOTO close up. jason str
Check local fabric stores, if they don't have it they may be able to get it. Problem with buying online is you never know what what it really looks like unless you have used it or seen it before.
Karsoncookie
Often you can request a sample swatch. Jason - Respectfully, finding something "local" even if you live in downtown Chicago, will be more difficult than the worst needle in a haystack. jason str
Don't know how you came up with that, half of my material for grilles is purchased at local fabric stores.
Karsoncookie
Sure, totally understand that, totally agree suitable stuff not to hard to find if we are flexible and don't have our heart set on a specific. BUT but he wants a SPECIFIC look, feel, texture, fiber color blend, etc. And I'm assuming by the application of the photo, (probably anyway, but not positively)what he wants is a coarse like stiff hard grille fabric, so marketed as such. Not at fabric stores , at least 99% of cases. Otherwise I totally agree w you. Go eat some egg rolls. Hugs. Lars
Karsoncookie
Jason - Do you cook from scratch much? Let me know if you're open to that. Lars
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted September 19, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 19, 2016 If possible you want a fabric made of vinyl coated fiberglass which has better acoustical transparency. Otherwise you are going to need to check it out some how. The frantic in that photo isn't dense weave, which is what you are looking for. HIFI4EVER
I bought some off white stuff, but it looks stupid to me. I was hoping for some dark stuff in the pattern like above. It's a thinner cloth. It is not affecting the sound in a negative way at all, but I did not pay much so I should have known.
