daveaux419
Hey Klipsch family! There were two veneers on the klipsch facebook page that I had not seen before. East Indian Rosewood and California Black Walnut. Can anyone give any info on these?
Grizzog
They are doing somewhat special editions with more exotic veneers. I think production is limited and they are the same price as the 70th anniversary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

HDBRbuilder
California walnut is most likely Claro Walnut, which can range anywhere from straight-grained to highly figured to marbled in appearance. Its wood is mostly used for fancy gunstocks and furniture, and of course its veneers. Orchards use the tree as a base root system onto which they graft English walnut branches for a higher crop yield. English walnut is not really an English native, it originated in Persia.
